                                    CAROLINA OPRY’S

CHRISTMAS MATINEE,

MYRTLE BEACH

&

NIGHTS OF A THOUSAND CANDLES, BROOKGREEN GARDENS

              December 19, 2015

In one day you can experience two big events. Depart Wilmington (Winter Park Baptist Church parking lot*) via motorcoach at 8:30 on Saturday Morning in time to arrive for a special Holiday Brunch on the waterfront at 10:30. (Please bring $7 for brunch to be collected on the coach before we arrive). After brunch we travel to the Carolina Opry Christmas Special matinee at 1:00 P.M. This “Christmas Special” is a Calvin Gaylord Production (same as Opryland in Nashville, TN) that is bound to excite your Christmas spirit.

After the matinee, it will be back to the motorcoach and onto Brookgreen Sculpture Gardens for a leisurely stroll to include the sculptures, carolers, musicians, trains, trees, trinkets and other festivities to generate memories of Christmases past. South Carolina Low Country Cuisine will be available in the garden to be eaten at your pleasure and at your expense.

“Nights of a Thousand Candles” is Brookgreen Gardens’ Annual Christmas Extravaganza by candle light–more candles than you can imagine! Both holiday experiences are highly acclaimed.

Important Note: Several people have asked about the meal at Brookgreen. It is not included in the package. Brookgreen “group dining” terminates at 5 P.M. We will arrive there a little later. Thus, you will dine (on your own) from the low country menu in the tented dining area. Actually, this is good in that you can start the garden tour and when you are ready to sit a bit you can dine.

Departure time: 8:30 A.M wheels roll! (Please arrive by 8:15 to be seated)

Return time: Approximately 9 P.M.

Cost: $147 per person

Includes: Motorcoach transportation, ticket for Carolina Opry, and admission to Brookgreen Gardens that includes all the holiday festivities that are

a part of “Nights of A Thousand Candles.”

Make check payable to: Natural & Family Resources, Inc.

Full Payment Due:  ASAP or until sold out--whichever comes first.

*A departure/return site is planned for the BACK parking lot at Winter Park Baptist Church.  The church is located at 4700 Wrightsville Avenue and has a tall white steeple. The BACK of the church is on Park Avenue where there is no street number. The parking lot that we will use is a pie-shaped property between Park Avenue and Pine Grove Drive. This lot is also across the street from Pine Grove Office Park and The Wesley Memorial Activity Center. You will see vehicles marked Winter Park Baptist Church parked on the lot and most likely the charter motor coach will be in place when you arrive.

Frances Parnell Travel Adventures makes every effort not to cancel a travel event. Thus, early deposits are requested. A deposit is required for a secure reservation. If at deposit time there is an indication that participation is too low, the cancellation can be made and deposits refunded. Thus, clients are informed well ahead of the travel event so they will not go on thinking the trip will  happen. If, however, deposits are sufficient by the due date and there is still availability, others will be allowed to join the group. Interested people are always invited to take the available seats!!! (Example: I can still take 4 reservations for the Adirondacks tour.)
